BCR provides a huge collection of centrally installed Linux software. However sometimes it requires us to change our habits to use it the way it is intended to be used. This 1-2 hour workshop will will introduce you to the terms, concepts and architecture of the Linux repository. You will be shown how the software in the repository should be used in the first place and how it can be used by more advanced users.
After the first presentation part you are invited to ask usage questions or describe common usage problems, so that we can find a solution for it.
Please note: This workshop is not about how to use a specific software or how to do a specific analysis etc. It’s only about general usage questions and common problems.
