In this one-day course, you will be introduced to EMBL Bioimage Analysis Research Desktop (BARD) that makes use of powerful GPUs and hardware resources. Users will be given tips on how to use BARD graphical user interface (GUI). They will learn about how to access their data on BARD. Typical image analysis tools would be shown hands-on. The aim of this course is to show this new desktop to EMBL users: accessing own data and doing image analysis tasks.
The course will be divided into two sections (the participants can join one or both sessions): a) basic b) advanced In basic section, we will be covering this material:
- BARD GUI
- Access data from BARD
- Fiji
- Cellpose
- Anylabeling
In advanced section, we will be covering this material:
- Using custom Fiji on BARD
- Using miniforge on BARD
As a prerequisite participants must bring their own laptops to run BARD.
