Introduction to Data Management

In this workshop, we will cover the basics of what you need to know to start thinking about data management in your research:

• what data management is to begin with
• what FAIR data consists of and how to achieve it
• how to start thinking about a data management plan and what steps should be included in it, and
• some basic principles for improving your data organization.

Time permitting, we will also cover some aspects specific to imaging data, a modality that is often challenging to manage.
