Basics of Bioimage Batch Analysis in Python

In this half-day course, you will be introduced to the basics of performing batch analysis of many images in python. The course will cover how to define a function that does the processing of one image and then how to loop over this function to analyse many images. You will also be introduced to good practices for file and folder based data management, and how to use the pathlib library to efficiently manipulate file and folder names in python. Importantly, you will also learn to to preserve essential image metadata when saving the output images, something that often is neglected!
