Aim:
The EMBL Data Management Application has been developed to help you manage and track your data on the filesystem throughout its full lifecycle, from creation to archival and deletion. The application is accessible at https://dma.embl.de and you can log in using your EMBL credentials.
This hands-on workshop will give you an introduction to this application and enable you to use it for your daily work.
We will start with an overview, followed by a live demo and then we will assist you to add your own data to the application.
Please note:
If your group wishes to start using this application, we would suggest at least 1 admin user is assigned and this user should attend the workshop.
Prerequisite:
There is no specific prerequisite, except for your interest in managing your data. You are encouraged to bring data management cases that are specific to your project.

- Please register below. We have only 30 seats in the Computer Training Lab.
- You can bring your laptop with a web-browser of your choice.
