A new series of sessions teaching programmatic image analysis with Python. Starting with the basics of image analysis and scientific Python, the series will provide an introduction to techniques for processing image data, analysing the output, and visualising the results.

Schedule

The series will run 14:00-17:00 every Wednesday for 8 weeks.

Note: Additional sessions may follow after this initial schedule is completed.

The sessions will run weekly, with different instructors and topics. We’ll start with the basics of image processing and scientific Python programming, before moving onto image analysis approaches and downstream data analysis and visualisation. Further session, covering more advanced topics, may be added in due course.

Sessions will take place weekly on Wednesday afternoons in room 13-518, starting 2nd May 2018.
